Keystone Charter Network is building a statewide network of classical public charter schools committed to academic excellence, strong character, civic understanding, and meaningful partnership with families.

Our Mission

Keystone Charter Network exists to establish and support exceptional classical public charter schools that provide students with a rigorous, knowledge-rich education, cultivate strong character, deepen their understanding of America’s history and founding principles, and prepare them to think critically, live responsibly, and contribute meaningfully to their communities and nation.

A Strong Foundation for Every Student

We believe students thrive when schools provide clear expectations, excellent instruction, orderly classrooms, meaningful content, and a strong partnership between educators and families.

Keystone schools will combine the enduring strengths of classical education with effective, evidence-based teaching practices. Students will build deep knowledge, develop strong academic skills, engage with important ideas, and learn to communicate with clarity and confidence.

Partnership with Families

Parents are a child’s first and most important educators. Keystone schools will communicate clearly, welcome meaningful family involvement, and respect the essential role of parents.

Our long-term vision is to expand access to excellent, traditional, classical public education throughout the State of Colorado.

Keystone Charter Network is targeting two classical charter-school openings in Fall 2028, with Pueblo and Colorado Springs as the leading locations. We plan to select authorizing districts by January 2027 and submit applications by March, while also evaluating other mission-aligned, charter-friendly Colorado communities for future expansion.

Building a Colorado Network

Who We Are

Keystone Charter Network is being developed by a Colorado-based team with experience in school leadership, multi-site educational programming, charter and district partnerships, special education, student services, compliance, curriculum development, and school operations.

The network is being incubated with support from Keystone Education Services, a Colorado nonprofit education organization. Our founding team includes experienced educational leaders and a licensed principal prepared to help lead the development of our first school.
